Discovery Horizons Grant

The Discovery Horizons grant program supports interdisciplinary projects that advance knowledge in the natural sciences and engineering (NSE). Projects must integrate or transcend multiple disciplines and benefit from peer review by a tri-agency interdisciplinary review committee.

*New for the 2024 competition: Individuals cannot hold both a Discovery Grant and a Discovery Horizons grant. Applicants can submit both a Discovery Grant NOI and participate in a Discovery Horizons LOI, but must choose one program for a full application.
